The Ganesha Award
ABOUT THE GANESHA AWARD
The Ganesha Prize is an internal prize awarded annually. The founder and patron of the prize is Per Spildra Borg; leader and founder of Stella Polaris. He is the one who decides who receives the prize, and he is usually the one who awards the prize. Anyone who wishes can nominate potential prize recipients.
The prize aims to shed light on the spiritual powers and qualities of the elephant god Ganesha; which coincide with those developed by Stella Polaris, as well as to stimulate everyone who has work associated with Stella Polaris to reach for the utmost for the group and the community.
The prize winner must be involved in accelerating the group. Through his/her qualities, he/she must have a unifying effect. In his/her area of responsibility, think new thoughts and show a humble attitude towards the group's vision. The prize winner must show good cooperation skills, be able to improvise and, through his/her work, show that he/she is able to reach greater knowledge. The winner must demonstrate a personal love for the work, which elevates it to another dimension. The prize can be awarded on the basis of popular, administrative, educational, artistic or spiritual criteria, or they can be a combination of all of them.
The prize is awarded just before Christmas, usually during the annual Christmas party.
The winner of Ganesha Award 2024 is Geir Bergersen.
