Stella Polaris was formed in 1985 by Merete Klingen and Per Spildra Borg. Stella Polaris takes us back to ancient celebrations and previous rituals of human life. In a world of jesters, storytellers, troubadours, and fakirs we want to bring back memories of our common ancestry and to trig our longing for something larger than life. Through our expressive form of theater, verging on the brink of the profane as well as the sacral, we take our audiences into a playful and caring world where magic moments between people occur.

Cultural Heritage Projects
Stella Polaris has develop a vast pool of knowledge on nordic viking and middle age history. We love using this knowledge to develop new performances, and we´re always open to requests on this. This page is in norwegian.
