A place for learning through group dynamics, development of talent, self realization and joy !

Every Monday approximately 15 young people from age 16 to 28 gather for training at Stella Polaris. In addition to Monday training we arrange week end and summer courses. In addition, the youth group gathers at self decided intervals for training and developing particular skills as stage fighting, acrobatics, juggling, song or skills of their choice.

Members of Stella Polaris Youth are integrated in all large theatre productions staged by Stella Polaris.

The youth group is trained to perform in the Stella Polaris tradition. This is a totally expressive and spiritual form of theatre where physical skills combine movement, text, song and rhythm choreographed to match each performance’s theme and context.

Members of Stella Polaris Youth participate in one large production every year. They are also part of our troop at larger festivals where Stella Polaris usually performs a variety of concepts from their repertoire and play an important role in the children’s knight tournaments. Members of the youth group help with rigging, play roles in performances and parades and are used as pedagogues for festival guests.

Enrolment of new members:
Young people seek membership in the Stella Polaris Youth throughout the year. We do not have set dates for application and enrolment, but as school and other activities tends to start in early autumn, this is usually a period for turn over of crew and the easiest time of year to accept new members to the youth group.
